Valve requires developers to disclose AI-generated content in games and on Steam store pages, something Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney isn't happy about.

This guy is why I don’t use Epic. Sore loser to dumb and corpo-coded to understand why he is losing.

This man is his own worst enemy. He’s one of those CEOs that used to have street cred (being of the core minds behind Unreal and the Unreal engine - in the trenches, not just as a “businessman”), but lost touch many years ago and is doing everything he can to ruin his reputation.

Instead of enjoying his fame and Unreal/Fortnite fortune, he’s just endlessly whining and bickering. Despite having won the game engine wars against everyone, I don’t think he’ll ever get over the fact that Valve under Gabe Newell’s leadership not only came up with a better and more successful first person shooter franchise, but also a better and more successful digital distribution platform.

We used to pay clowns for entertainment, now we get it for free.

Clowns don’t own multi billion dollar companies, your Majesty.

Hmm, but multi billion dollar companies all seem to be owned by clowns? I’d say it’s a requirement if anything.

Your majesty, a kingdom can say foolish things, and still rule with an iron fist. Have you tried curling yours?

I bet, apart from very few obscure 1 man indie games, every project has seen help by AI. To what extend might differ but that’s nowhere reflected. Either they lie or have that AI badge.
