Are the screen not scratched when you take them off that box? Phone box is usually hard and thick so there are a possibility that is scratching the screen. And from the photo it is so close between the edge of the box and the screen.
Indeed, you’re right, there’s very much no gap between the glass and the box edge. To ease the scratching I applied a bit of sticky tape on the edges so now it should be better
