Mr_Buscemi ( @Mr_Buscemi@lemmy.blahaj.zone ) English7•2 years agoTook me a moment to notice you had to use a QR code to see the prices.
That would definitely be an issue for me.
heady ( @heady@beehaw.org ) English5•2 years agoScan QR for price is the same as “call for quote”… if you feel the need to conceal your prices then they are obviously not good, I won’t waste my time confirming the obvious and simply go elsewhere.
Chris Remington ( @remington@beehaw.org ) English5•2 years agoI wouldn’t buy any of that junk.
haha that’s even better
Wander ( @Wander@yiffit.net ) English4•2 years agoOh I had to zoom in before I got hit. Hell no.
Gaywallet (they/it) ( @Gaywallet@beehaw.org ) English4•2 years agoI would bring anything I wanted to purchase to the front and after they ring each item up decide there whether I want to pay that price or not. I would definitely not scan a QR to find out a price.
bijuice ( @bijuice@beehaw.org ) English2•2 years agoAs always with these kinds of stupid corporate decisions the workers will have to deal with the fallout. I bet they hate it as much as customers do.
Chronoshift ( @Chronoshift@beehaw.org ) English4•2 years agoI look at this and my only thought was that I hope their internet never goes down. I don’t think the owner thought this through.
Aiden ( @roi@lemmy.blahaj.zone ) English3•2 years agoAs cool as it is, what if the site they’re using to host goes down, or they move it? Also, if this is to “save paper” it’s way more unnecessary because the paper they used to print the QR code could’ve been used to print the price.
secret_ninja ( @secret_ninja@feddit.nl ) English3•2 years agoIs this even legal? Don’t they have to show prices by law?
