I created my account on this instance, but when I go to posts on other instances where downvoting should be enabled the downvote button still is missing. Is there a way to change this or do I have to create a new account on another instance?
Its just here (as far as I know). lemmy.ml has downvoting enabled.
I know this instance has downvoting disabled, but in the screenshot you can see I’m on a post from lemmy.ml and the downvote button is still hidden.
You can’t downvote other instances content from Beehaw either.
That’s a shame, I’ll probably create a new account then.
Definitely understand it’s not everyone’s cup o tea. I actually sought out Beehaw because of that feature, along with a few more.
You could come do feddit.de, we have downvoting here :)
I’m not German though. I think I’ll probably just create an account on the main instance.

Go to settings for your account while on PC, then under languages, click the first one(should be undefined), scroll to the bottom, and shift click the last to select all. Then save
