Sorry if this has already been answered, but how do I open links to other communities in the app? If I click on a link to another community in a comment it just tries to open in chrome. Sorry again if the answer for this is already posted somewhere. Edit: I’m using jerboa on android
The Velour Fog ( @Blackfeathr@lemmy.world ) 5•1 year agoI don’t think there is a way currently.
Violet ( @Violet@lemmy.world ) 3•1 year agoI haven’t figured this out either, there might not be a way to do it at all within the app. Hopefully that will come in a new update because it’s really annoying when I see a link for a community I want to subscribe to and I just want to stay in the app!
Kresten ( @kresten@feddit.dk ) 2•1 year agoThis is still being worked on in the official UI. I think you should check whether it is registered on the Jerboa repository.
Billy_Gnosis ( @Billy_Gnosis@lemmy.world ) 1•1 year agoI don’t know if this is the same issue, but when I click on a link to a community in a post, Jerboa auto closes and I need to reopen
OverfedRaccoon ( @OverfedRaccoon@beehaw.org ) 1•1 year agoFrom what I was told, and forgive my limited knowledge, if you’re talking about Jerboa on Android, it’s less an issue with the app and more how Android handles URL stuff. I don’t know enough to elaborate, but apparently it’s an Android issue, not an app issue.
Slayer 🦊 ( @MavTheHack@lemmy.fmhy.ml ) 1•1 year agoGo to app info->set as default->enable open supported links->tap supported web address->enable all
I have OneUI but the process is nearly identical on stock android
