I don’t have a space for a garden so I spent a lot of time this spring going out and looking at the wildflowers

There’s some hills near San Diego that were so littered with these poppies this spring that I thought the hills were covered in fire retardant. The WHOLE hill was solid orange.

I love California poppies so much! They make me smile when I see them on the roadside
