Noxy ( @noxy@yiffit.net ) 6•2 years agoWhen I say Rise allows you to be anyone, it’s not an exaggeration
as long as “anyone” is human, which, yawn…
ag_roberston_author ( @ag_roberston_author@beehaw.org ) 5•2 years agoNo, you can also be Wyverian.
TheRoarer ( @TheRoarer@beehaw.org ) 5•2 years agoMhgu also let you be a palico.
Noxy ( @noxy@yiffit.net ) 1•2 years ago“Wyverians superficially resemble humans”
ag_roberston_author ( @ag_roberston_author@beehaw.org ) 5•2 years agoIn the same way elves, dwarves and gnomes do, yeah.
Seraphin 🐬 ( @Seraphin@pawb.social ) 5•2 years agoThis is exactly why I’ve never played a Monster Hunter game, despite how fun it looks.
I don’t want to hunt the monster, I want to be the monster. Or at least befriend it and help take down the rude humans constantly trying to stab it.
sleepisajokeanyway ( @sleepisajokeanyway@kbin.social ) 11•2 years agoYou might like Monster Hunter Stories then, you play as a rider in those befriending and raising the monsters. I haven’t played them myself but they seem pretty well received.
Venia Silente ( @veniasilente@lemm.ee ) English1•2 years agoThere was a pretty nice technical demo about a year ago where you played as a Velocidrome on the Forest and Hills map, I think it was called Monster Hunter Dreams or smth. What ever happened to it?
