Following another setback in its legal dispute with Sony Music, Quad9 has decided to block pirate site Canna worldwide.

    A fucking DNS resolver. And just blocking it in Germany isn’t enough because VPNs exist.

    The global block really is stretching it, plus Quad9 is based in Swiss, not Germany. One company’s copyright shouldn’t be a reason to cripple Internet infrastructures globally.

    Let’s hope they win the appeal.
