Mogster ( @Mogster@beehaw.org ) English10•1 year agoThat looks rather nice. My Pixel 6 should be good for a few years yet, but I’d like to think my next phone will be a Fairphone if they keep improving like this.
thepaperpilot ( @thepaperpilot@beehaw.org ) English1•1 year agoAgreed; I have a oneplus 9 5g and it feels way too early to upgrade again, but fairphone sounds like a great consideration for my next device.
snowbell ( @snowbell@beehaw.org ) English6•1 year agoNow if we could just get them in the USA…
Mummelpuffin ( @Mummelpuffin@beehaw.org ) English2•1 year agoAt the same time, I kind of respect their conviction to only sell in Europe where they don’t need to participate in global shipping to the same extent, and don’t need to grow unsustainably. We want something like the Fairphone? Someone here has got to make it.
StorageB ( @StorageB@lemmy.one ) English4•1 year agoHow is the software experience with Fairphone? Is it generally pretty stable and bug free?
LaggyKar ( @LaggyKar@programming.dev ) English2•1 year agoI’m hoping for a 120 Hz OLED screen. That’s my biggest reason for not getting a Fairphone 4.
Felix Urbasik ( @fell@ma.fellr.net ) 1•1 year ago LaggyKar ( @LaggyKar@programming.dev ) 1•1 year agoBoth, but mostly the refresh rate
Sea of Tranquility ( @SeaOfTranquility@beehaw.org ) English2•1 year agoHopefully, they fix their camera API so that GCam works properly this time. Being stuck with the stock photo app was the only downside of version 4 imo.
