I was thrilled to see it wasn’t simply dismissed on a technicality like… A few felt like they mostly ended up dismissed on “hey this is so bad I’ll lose my job as a judge to accept it even if I agree so come back with a better write up”. 😩

That’s not “even”. The NYT have been an enthusiastic participant in trans genocide many, many times.
I read this last night so I may be misremembering the full context, but yeah it felt big “I’m still not risking libel against NYT” (I’m not a legal person so libel may be incorrect technically) even though, well you said it!
