They’re supposed to sound like TNG Klingons. Everybody sang in the squeaky range. A variety of voices would have been nice. Ethan Peck’s a baritone. More than one note of Spock’s big number could have been there.
Apparently there is a deleted/alternate scene with more straight forward Klingon Operatic singing that will be included in bonus features.
How do I get to bonus features?
The EPs have mentioned in interviews that the alternate version will be a bonus feature on the DVDs/BlueRay/UHD disc sets.
