Man I’m just in constant awe and gratitude for how many of these things you have! I’ve been Trek memeing for a while but most of these are totally new to me, I feel like I’ve been living under a rock. You’re a beautiful human and we love you! ❤️🖖

Here’s a blank template if anyone wants:
We got a u/stamets appreciate post going here?
Stamets, you have near singlehandedly made Lemmy my full time internet home. You keep me off the Other Place, and you bring joy and humor to my day, every day. Thank you for being a collector of humor and for distributing it in true Star Trek fashion, for the use of all. It’s been a long road, getting from there to here, but thanks to you, our time is finally near.
Live long and prosper, Stamets.

Oh, God, it feels good to be logged back in to this account. My .world alt just isn’t the same, and I’m glad to see you back, too!
I love that intro. Honestly, it’s my favorite trek intro.
Also, don’t knock yourself, I’m sure you’re just as pretty as Pike. Though that man is damn pretty… Lol.
Risa is one of the few communities on lemmy that I subscribe to since moving from reddit that actually feels alive and active, and I love that.
Same. A lot of my subbed communities are still slow and growing (or kept going by 1-2 dedicated users), but Risa feels very alive.
They are the chosen one, destined to bring the funnies to Risa
Risa has become my favorite mag <3
Glad you’re here, FARTYSHARTBLAST
That actually made me laugh out loud haha
Same! 🤣
Your name is perfect. Stay golden fartyshartblast
Any relation to Slartibartfast?
No relation, great guy though!
I recently discovered this community and I’m enjoying it, but I have no clue what ‘risa’ stands for.

tl:dr: It’s a popular tourist destination within the Federation; where normally staid and serious Starfleet crew go to let their hair down.
It was an “all things go” planet that was first discovered in the original series, and then all ships started using it as their shore leave vacation spot.
Cmon, I’ve blocked all the meme and shitposting communities. Why am I still seeing this post?!
Oh, because it was good enough that I subscribed to it instead. Right.
