Moonrise2473 ( @Moonrise2473@feddit.it ) 14•10 months agoFun fact: they changed their logo two years ago, but nobody noticed, and everyone is still using the old one

rebrand fail, when the old logo was so unique that everyone knew it, but the new one it’s too bland and unrecognizable
Gamma ( @GammaGames@beehaw.org ) English11•10 months agoI haven’t seen anyone using their old logo. All the articles and thumbnails use the new one
Edit: I was wrong, clearly the old logo is still being used! It’s not as far as the original reply indicated though, I’ve still seen a majority using the new logo (unless your primary metric is thumbnails on lemmy)
Moonrise2473 ( @Moonrise2473@feddit.it ) 4•10 months agoYou mean the opposite?
Go to watch all the articles on the verge, Engadget, the videos posted on this subreddit, they all had the old logo. This post is also using the old logo
Gamma ( @GammaGames@beehaw.org ) English2•10 months agoI do see that the verge used the old logo at least once (but it’s been a majority the new logo) and engadget has been a mix, but all the YouTube coverage I looked up had the new logo 🤷♂️ I guess it is a mix!
Moonrise2473 ( @Moonrise2473@feddit.it ) 2•10 months agoi searched on lemmy and majority of posts are using the old logo:

fraydabson ( @fraydabson@sopuli.xyz ) English2•10 months agoSee that’s going to be a problem. I have a friend named cunty and if I can’t call her cunty then it’s like what’s the point.
