Glorious (2022) [ Lovecraftian Horror / Comedy ]
A man in a toilet stall at a highway rest stop has a shitty day.
This was a real oddball I picked up after seeing it on Shudder. It’s just a most ridiculous story in almost all aspects, but it will keep you engrossed.
The comedy was much better than I expected. The horror is more of a Lovecraftian horror and wasn’t real scary. It does have a large amount of gore so bring a mop.
I wanted to like this, but it did not work very well for me.

It’s totally watchable. I don’t want to turn anyone off who hasn’t tried it. It just didn’t click for me. I am curious what others think
I had a good time watching this one. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting, and J.K. Simmons was great as the voice of the monster. I really enjoy the movies where the monster isn’t just on a crazy evil murder spree and actually talks with characters. “You’re locked in a bathroom with an eldritch horror” is a much more interesting premise than a monster chasing you through the woods or whatever.
Oh god, the dialog is sooo funny too. It truly is a unique flick.
