None. What problem would having a blockchain/DLT based social network solve?

None. There’s scuttlebutt, which was interesting a few years ago but then didn’t really evolve into anything more.

But scuttlebutt isn’t blockchain, no?

no, but I thought they were using a distributed ledger of sorts. Looks like that’s not true.

Ahh, I was scared for a moment. xD

I have manyverse. This is scuttlebutt.

They developed room2 servers. With aliases you can easy join people and the connection gets initiated via the room2 server to stay p2p…

But no one yet will try to use it with me…

Well, there’s this really cool game we used to play in school where we’d tape little wood blocks with our names to the chain link fence…

My favourite Blockchain/DLT-based social networks are the ones that take all the cryptobros away from people who aren’t cultists.

A community dedicated to fediverse news and discussion.

Fediverse is a portmanteau of “federation” and “universe”. It is a common, informal name for a federation of social network servers whose main purpose is microblogging, the sharing of short, public messages.
