Yeah, there’s a lot of false equivalency happening in these discussions. It’s not great, but if it helps create open, industry-wide standards then it’s not horribly anti-consumer.
Nvidia screws gamers by insane pricing and anti-comptetitive deals like trying to corner the chip market with ARM. Capitalism is awful. I don’t fault the players for playing the game.
