The Pirates! Band of Misfits

It’s probably my favourite Aardman Animation movie and great fun. Family movie, british humour in stop motion/claymation if anyones interested.

They Live is pretty good.

I was planning to watch anyway but to be fair this looks great and much more than I expected.

Vivaldi isn’t perfect by any means but there is also much more to it than the browser itself. Also if you don’t like Vivaldi that’s fine but stop using Brave :(

I use Qwant as my daily mostly because it’s European and I can turn of AI.

For a 6 year old I would honestly just get a cheap DAB radio. I know it’s not the same as Spotify on demand but they are 6 and it requires very little input from everyone.

I wasn’t expecting much but It’s a really fun watch and all the characters are great.

Napoleon Dynamite had a budget of 400k and is excellent.

I do like the simple aesthetic of the Air (also the Flex 2 from years ago) but nowadays I just avoid wearable tech. Get a nice wristwatch instead :)

The whole cast are excellent and it’s a fascinating topic.

I watch everything with subtitles, foreign or not.

Pinocchio (2022)

Guillermo del Toro’s interpretation is dark but beautiful.

There are plenty available its just that the “popular” games get all the bullshit added to them.

I use it but honestly it’s very overrated.

On one hand it’s useful for clans/communities (especially if you have community game servers) but at a certain point all meaningful discussion goes right out the window when there are too many people in one place. It works best with a small group of friends as a kind of meeting place.

The Booksellers (2019)

It’s a documentary about rare book dealers. It was a fun watch and even though some of the people do ramble on it portrays it in a passionate way and is kinda heartwarming.
