5·15 days agoBerryhill told employees Monday that equalpride came to know Katari through a private equity fund that has helped finance the company for several years. Katari is an investor in that fund, which holds interests in businesses across several industries, Berryhill said.
Private equity will lead to the destruction of these formerly independent news outlets. Accelerating consolidation, driven by private equity, hastens that end.

8·2 months agoI would say that at the very least it’s not a term that you as a cisgender person would use to describe any transgender person.
If a trans person decides to describe themselves that way, for whatever reason, that is up to them. But it remains a term that should be used by trans people about themselves.
“Socialized male” is one of the key tools in deploying transmisogyny specifically against trans women.
