I call BS, I’ve never met a woman who found an amazing pair of shoes and didn’t immediately check if they had it in other designs.
The editorialised title is unnecessarily negative and hostile. Their approach is exactly what we should be hoping for from all parties.
I certainly wish we could have had a more likeable protagonist, but since I enjoyed the show, who am I to say they made a bad call? Mainly just wanted to grouse about it with others :)

Lasts up to a week… I’d be hesitant to commit to a trip that long myself. Imagine if you had a bad one.

Explain why I think they’re stupid? I would have thought their comments made it patently clear. Going on and on about music bringing people together, the center being apolitical, etc etc. See if they’d feel the same way if their loved ones were among those affected by Trump.

One obvious factor which I don’t see mentioned, is that these kids aren’t living in distinct isolated populations. They’re interacting with each other. If you’re a social-media-free kid and the majority of your peers are on social media, of course that’s gonna impact you negatively as you’re getting left out. That’s not going to be the case if your entire generation is off social media. Fairly obvious, but the article author just ignores this point entirely. Uncertain if it was addressed in the studies. All in all, pretty biased article.

On the other hand, you have major European instances (feddit.org) geoblocking a quarter of the world (Asia) and degrading the fediverse experience for any users there.
BYD support so far has not impressed me favourably. Had an issue with my new car, took it to the workshop, they took apart some stuff and agreed that a part was faulty. However they need to submit a request to HQ for approval, which will take 2 weeks. And THEN they’ll order the part, which will take ANOTHER 2 weeks. 1 month, just for a simple issue. It’s a good thing my car is working, if this was a critical issue I’d be carless for a month due to their bureaucracy.
I suspect they’ve grown way too fast for their support infrastructure to keep up with.
