I’ve found several guides made over the last 3 years on the whole “beginners to the fediverse” kind of thing. It would be great for an updated all in one kind of guide for all beginners. I think that might be more up to each instance though.

From what I’ve read it seems extra challenging if you’re on a smaller instance because a lot of communities aren’t fedirated so you have to search for them yourself. Which for the only one I’ve had to do, is kind of wonky on my app of choice, voyager.

Oof yeah I feel this. Time management is hard. Sometimes I just have to set alarms so I can stop a task before getting too sucked in. Sometimes I don’t even remember turning off those alarms. Oops

For me it was really being the only girl in the neighborhood. I didn’t realize it at the time but it lead to be feeling like there was something wrong with being a girl. Especially when my parents would get mad at me for getting dirty and muddy but not my brother.

It’s scary how we never know how creepy and terrifying some people really are.

I personally enjoyed videos from a creator called Caffeinated Kitty. She’s all about (safely) being aggressive and creepy towards men who won’t take a no.

Organ harvesting is one she uses a lot. Like dude won’t take no for an answer and she puts on an insane grin and asks him when and where and what his blood type is. O negative!? Yes those kidneys will fetch a great price! And you have no life preservation skills? Maybe you can live without the spleen too.
