I’d say that Quebec separatists are a slightly different ball of wax. That movement started before Canada or the US were even countries.

So PEIs 4 ridings are an affront to BC and completely unfair?
The raw voters per riding metric has never, and will never be the sole determination in riding size and location. All that would do is completely eliminate what little influence that the more rural parts of the country have. Even in riding rich Ontario, ask the Northern ridings how influential they feel.

So you want to solve east - west alienation, by amplifying urban - rural, while not actually addressing any of the east-west “issues”?

A loose group of governments led by Saudi Arabia, Russia and India, and also including China and Kenya, have raised objections to publishing the report in 2028
I mean, is it really a tough question?

That’s a relief. The lighthouses are the only part I’ve had die on their own.

In Linux land, “not supported on” and “doesn’t work on” are two very different things.
Ran into this the other day, when an update broke a game I was playing. Checked the game forum and the developer said that the workaround was to move a DLL up one level in the directory. When people asked if that solution would work for every distro, the developer would only say that it’s supported on steam deck, since that’s what they are testing on. Of course, that solution works on all distros, as far as I can tell, but the developer isn’t going to test and verify that.

The analogy kind of falls apart since she is not limited to this guy and Chad. She’s free to choose nothing at all. With Trump vs Biden, there’s no viable third option, and having no president is not one of the options. So the “Trump is worse” argument becomes viable simply because you do have to choose one of them.
So the author first states that we have to make sure we aren’t buying equipment to fight yesterday’s wars, since the Ukrainian war has shown that drones and missile strikes seem to be the current way forward, but then turns around and advocates buying more F35s.
Pick a direction. You don’t need a stealth fighter to shoot down drones. A fleet of cheaper, more available Gripens would be better suited to home defense anyone. At least, that seems to be the opinion of the guy in charge of NORAD.
