I too connect to lemmy.ca from Mexico. But I have never experienced “connection refused”. My isp is Megacable, and 99.9%of the time I have PIA VPN on a US or Canadian server, sometimes a South American country.

None of these facts are wrong. Carney is a top-tier capitalist, no question. The thing is, what are the choices? Three of the Liberal candidates are women. Not gonna win nationally. The other two are unknown MPs. Polievre has no vision, just a strategy of division and dog whistles, á la Prez Chump. It’s getting old fast. The NDP is still a fringe party with “visible minority” leader. Not gonna win nationally. There’s a lot to dislike, and if the Liberals select him, they won’t get my vote. But I think he will be the next PM, and might even win the next election. Unfortunately, I think that will depend significantly on what Chump and the Villionaires do in the next six months. And that is volitile capricious unstable unpredictable!

I can’t upvote enough! Perhaps the most riveting hockey game I ever saw. And I saw the Summit Series in ‘72.

What went wrong? Everyone giving an opinion, when the facts have not been established. So no right answers yet!

I can’t help think that Chimp and The Villionaires are quashing the competition so that only they and their groupies cronies will have access to life and health extending treatments, that they will sell to the highest bidders.

Not Chump himself but lobbyists whispering in his ear about how rich they will all get extorting resources then selling them to John Q. Public.

I don’t disagree but the CRTC’s monopolistic, colluding, communication trust corps will never spend money in those vast and remote markets. And people need to communicate.

Well except for the soulless mouth-piece who will say anything, however ridiculous, impractical, or impossible, to get himself and his party on to the front pages. But that’s the kind of man (or woman) power-seeking parties choose to follow.

How can they watch the Leafs lose another fantastic season without good Internet? The cost of those contracts doesn’t cross the attention threshold of guys like leon. So cmon, ease up on that one.
