I’m more hyped for this than most other games shown at not-E3 2023. While there was no gameplay, the trailer had the vibe down pat. Excited!

Well, it depends what kind of content you were doing solo, but there has definitely been some power creep over the years, especially with two more expansions worth of elite specs since LW S3. Events marked “Group Event” are still impossible for me to do alone, but that’s by design. Other content can be challenging, but is mostly fine. But of course, this is just my experience.

I’d recommend giving the game another shot with all the new content that has been added, especially the mounts introduced in PoF.

As far as I can tell, they aren’t buffing the speed, but it gains a lot of new utility. Being able to mount in combat sounds quite broken, and will apparently not be possible with the other mounts.

Yeah, Heart of Thorns is still very difficult solo, but Path of Fire and End of Dragons are quite comfortable, especially once you get an elite spec into your build. It kind of feels like the difficulty progression was reversed, as open world play has actually gotten easier with each expansion.
