What’s up with young men and fascism?

Society has been silencing young men, driving them away and fascism accepts them. Pretty much the same happened in 1920s. Important difference though: most current young men haven’t suffered through a horrible world war, or really suffered at all.

AI came at sort of a perfect time for me. I grew very tired of coding about, I don’t know, 5 or 10 years ago. No LLM in sight back then.

Now that I can do “coding” without the absolute bore of the process, I’m much happier. I find that I can accomplish projects that I have been dreaming about for decades.

Models keep getting better and cheaper. I can now drive the pretty capable Deepseek v4.1 flash pretty much 24h a day on my projects while spending something like 20 euros per month.

Good idea. So much psychological damage could’ve been prevented in the last few generations if this had been in place already 6 years ago.

I think it would be easier and more effective to just ban the personal devices though.

This same argument could be made against any other minority (or majority) group: Jews, Muslims, women, disabled people, and so on. None of them are forced into the community either. Surely it wouldn’t be a problem if they could be openly mocked for those qualities, right?

I personally don’t think it’s a good idea to alienate any of those groups, including trans people. Banning assholes is a great idea though, regardless of what their identity group is.

But I don’t think I have any right to tell a project what they find acceptable or not. Like I said, it’s not like everybody has to participate, and there are plenty of projects with different rules and vibes.

I believe he’s referring to corrective surgeries and gender blockers for gender dysphoric people. Surgeries are not done to minors anywhere probably, but puberty blockers are obviously administered to minors. Studies show that puberty blockers very often are followed up with cross-sex hormones, which do cause sterilization for natal males especially.
