

I agree. Guild Wars 2 probably comes the closest to the “no pay to win” ideal. Is it perfect? No. You can buy food, boosters and potions with real money to temporarily boost your stats, not high enough to become super powerful, but in some play modes, a tiny advantage is key. Most of these same boosters are available via crafting or in game currency, which balances out any pay to win advantages. You can also spend money to level up your character to max 80 if you don’t want to put in the work yourself. The vast majority of items in the marketplace are cosmetic in nature.
