@nixCraft@mastodon.social The main problem that I see is the perceived sense of convenience and “connected-ness” that big tech offers. I say perceived because the convenience comes from familiarity of MS based OS to the average user and not because BigTech has something superior to offer. The NextCloud project is getting closed to the OneDrive+M365 offering and that, hopefully will be the key to privacy focused “connected-ness”.
