That whenever people mobilize to vote, the more people go to vote, more votes go to the left. This and the fact that the most evident message fed to the masses is “voting is useless, all parties/politicians are the same.”

People in the left, for some reason, tend to forget the fact that while they don’t vote because no left-wing party is good enough, an army of intellectually challenged, propaganda ridden right wing voters are going to vote for anyone the right-wing powers that be decide to put in place, no matter how stupid, horrible, psychopath that person (and the whole organization behind them) is.

You can collect the cold water and use it to water your plants, make water changes to your aquariums, clean the house or just flush the toilet.
It’s not saving that much water so data centers can waste more but it’s not nothing.

You are right, but… Then there’s logic. People say cartilaginous fish (like sharks) are fish and bony fish (like carps) are fish, the only clade that contains both is the vertebrates, hence language is dumb and we all should hug each other.

So… Silicon is collected, processed, made into glass, we use the glass, then the glass gets pulverized and added to the soil and we make new glass… And all the energy used? We could use a glass jar until it brakes, cleaning it and reusing it, and once it breaks recycling it into another jar or bottle or whatever is better than making new glass.

How is this any good? Even if refined silicon from glass is more efficient for the nutrient thing than silica sand, it’s just adding another thing to the list of things we keep adding to the soil instead of creating a healthy soil and reducing our consumption. I understand nothing.

Mine is in a north facing room so no direct light (I’m in Europe). The room is somewhat bright, but no sun.
And you are right, heatwaves seem to not bother that plant. I love that!
