Not gonna lie… I did not like an entire episode on the alter Rudeus. Felt like too much time spent on what we already know happened.

The moment this show tried to use AI everywhere I knew it was a huge red flag. There’s simply too many sloppy aspects everywhere this season, as others stated multiple times:

• Bad direction
• The studio not understanding the author’s view
• Bad pacing
• Bad animation

I’m very hyped about the story because the source material is cared dearly by the fans, but holy fuck this season is unwatchable.

Just a reminder that Emilia is a throne candidate, and the world forgetting her completely breakes the power balance in between the other candidates.

This episode had some insane action scenes

No violence or triggers, just situations without tension. Mostly composed of scenes bringing warm and pleasant feelings like doing hobbies, talking, eating, exploring

This episode was beautiful, it finally exposed us to the story of the Witch and the Queen. Lara almost got the same fate of the Witch, and now she will date her adoptive daughter and be forever ever after.

Even though the show hints at a Goodbye, I’m really hoping for a sugary diabetes end here, I wish the happy ending for both of them.

And then things would get fishy

Just one thing comes to mind: If Rudy could time-travel, why can’t Man-god? Would he not notice that Rudy cheated destiny by going back in time? This plot only makes sense if Man-god is not all-knowing / all-powerful, he needs some shackles for it to work.

However, Man-god also proved to know a bit of the future and consequences to choices, regarding Rudy doing or not some things. I want to know how he got this information, if he can see the future but only a much shorter timeframe, or if someone else who is also time-traveling is telling him things.

Rudy already had some connection to time-travel magic, since his eye can see the future, so he probably took inspiration from the eye, to create his time-travel magic.

It’s a very difficult spot, because of the butterfly effect. I suppose some choices would become very hard if his wives would also know of the diary. Taking Eris in, for example, would not be easier if they knew that it was mostly to avoid in-fighting, or further difficult paths, and not love.

I would guess he has to make her feel at home in the new world, that’s all he can offer. She has to come with acceptance that too much time would have passed, and everyone she knows is dead. And he has to offer her a place to belong.
