What works is planning. Plan what you’d do, if the situation were to arise again. Once you have a plan, your mind will stop bugging you. Works for me!

Mange tak. Jeg har ihvertfald fundet ud af, at jeg bruger mad på samme måde som jeg plejede at bruge alkohol dengang jeg drak for meget. Et stort madorgie slukker min hjerne, og den hurtige dopamin jeg får ved at tæve fast food ned, er noget jeg har brugt enormt meget for at regulere mig selv.

Jeg har faktisk lige været på McDonalds (Jeg bestilte kun deres wrap), men jeg kom også til at snuppe en af mine sønners nuggets med sur/sød sovs. Det føltes ærlig talt som om jeg var en narkoman der fik et lille skud heroin, det var lige før jeg rystede på hænderne. Jeg har det på samme måde med mange kombinationer af salt/sød mad, hvor jeg æder det som en måde at flygte fra mine følelser.

En af de ting jeg virkeligt øver mig på, er at respektere min mæthed. Jeg plejede at spise lige igennem enhver form for mæthed i maven, fordi jeg jagtede dopamin. Som en person der tidligere har røget cigaretter og drukket alt for mange øl, så kender jeg virkelig følelsen. Det er sgu en form for afhængighed!

Jeg tror det kommer til at tage nogle måneder at få det her bearbejdet på en ordentlig måde.

Edit: Holy shit, og trangen til at inhalere hele slikskuffen når børnene er puttet blev også lige modstået. Der er mange måder man bruger mad på, i det her tilfælde til at “koble af”. Pyha.

Nu har jeg efterhånden tabt mig 11 kg i jagten på en sundere livsindstilling. Jeg skal stadig tabe mig i omegnen af 40 kg for at nå en pæn vægt, men det føles virkeligt rart at have noget success med noget. At arbejde positivt med mig selv har virkeligt hjulpet mig med min depression.

They have to understand that they are more or less allowing Trump to set everything on fire. Every single one of US allies at this point hate him. He has alienated Canada, and all of Europe. He’s destabilizing NATO, and therefore the entire foundation of western democracy and defense. I doubt Australians, the Japanese, or any other established country is particularly fond of him either, or they won’t be, when he sets his sights on them.

Long-term this is a massive shot in the foot. He may be able to throw his weight around in a cage like a gorilla right now, but as allies slowly realize that the US can fundementally no longer be trusted, that cage is going to shrink. In the coming years we will likely see massive military escalation across all non-US western nations, and EU as a whole are already making moves to pull ressources out of the US.

Now that France actually is deployed in Greenland, annexation would mean instigating war with a nation with atomic weapons. Not to mention that the whole exercise is pointless - the US have always had the right to deploy in Greenland, they have always been able to establish a military presence. In fact, if he wants the golden dome there, there is an established procedure he has to follow, which historically hasn’t been a problem.

Denmark has done so much shit for the US through the years. We allowed them to hide nuclear missiles in the ice during project iceworm. They never cleaned up after themselves, and now Greenland has a nuclear hazard. We even forcibly removed a whole people (Really shitty of us too), the entire city of Thule (Uummannaq), because the US wanted a huge fucking base right where they lived. Guess who paid for those reparations 40 years later to compensate the Inuits who had their entire livelihood and home destroyed? Denmark did.

To top it off, there literally is no threat there right now. Not from the Russians. Not from the Chinese. The only threat is Trump. Yes, the Russians are trying to sabotage infrastructure, and the Chinese are trying to make investments. But NATO has pretty much been able to handle that.

Yeah it’s honestly hard to understand for me and come to terms with. Most Americans I know don’t want any part in this either. At least some things do give me hope, Fox News interviewed our foreign minister (Also former prime minister), and… Well I never thought I’d say this about Fox News but… It was actually really sensible and a good interview?

I mean… Even the most Trump fanatical Republican must be experience a bit of an identity crisis by now, surely?

Danish citizen here. This is really weird. The US have been our allies for decades, but apparently here we are.

I am mostly worried about the people of Greenland in all of this. I’ve met many people from Greenland, and they’re great people.

I’ve always loved debian. There’s a reason it’s a favorite on servers, and so many distros are built on it. Stable, reliable, gets the job done really well. As long as the job doesn’t require the newest packages.

It has a built in heat pump, so it doesn’t use much. It’s unnoticeable actually, although models without one probably will drain a lot.

I’ve owned an EV for 5 years, and only now am I beginning to actually get over that range anxiety. I honestly like driving my EV, there is so little maintenance, and it has a range of about 300 km which is enough for me. But yeah, the charging stations are a huge hassle. There are so many of them that are marked as available on the map, and then when you get there they are either broken, occupied, or blocked by an ICE. Also, the apps and charging tags are driving me fucking nuts. I have so many different apps now, and a lot of them work like absolute shit. I also still run into weird issues where a cable will lock to my car, and then I have to call support or similar.

The things that make owning an EV nice, are things like free public parking in a lot of larger cities, and holy hell does it warm up quickly in the winter. I’m still probably going to buy an EV for my next car, I just hope it will be possible to buy a modern car without constant electronic nuisances like beeps, eye-tracking, subscription services, shitty touch screens, and all the other bullshit that they put in cars nowadays (Not just EV’s). Another reason I like my EV is the acceleration, I never have to worry when I overtake a slow vehicle.

I had a Fairphone 3, but ran into a lot of problems with the phone suddenly shutting down on its own. I hadn’t fiddled with it at all, and I couldn’t find much advice apart from “Try pulling it apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together again”.

I really love the concept though, but I’m worried my bank and government identification won’t work on Fairphone now.

Ja, virkelig god implementation af ray tracing, det er faktisk et af de første spil jeg har spillet hvor nogen screenshots af det er så gode, at det næsten ligner real life.

Puzzles I det er også meget hyggelige, og får en til at føle sig virkelig klog når man løser dem. De må meget gerne lave flere Indiana Jones spil!

Jeg havde der ret sjovt med det spil. Det føles faktisk mere Indiana Jones end crystal skull og den sidste nye.

Men det mangler måske lidt af den oprindelige humor der gjorde de første film så gode, og så er gameplayet fint men ikke rigtigt noget man gider genspille.

Grafikken derimod… Wow. Vanvittigt flot!

Lots of promising stuff happening here in Denmark already. A minister of digitalization, Linux Laptops in the government, and Margrethe Vestager created an initiative for European based social networks called Rebuild.

But for some reason also some backwards stuff. Like trying to ban VPN. Like, what?

Jeg nåede sgu 52 følgere på Twitch i går, så nu kan jeg blive affiliate!

Jeg har også fået måltidskasse fra Aarstiderne, synes råvarerne ser gode ud, men HelloFresh organiserer deres ting så det er en pose per opskrift. Det er lidt lettere.

Jeg har været åndsvagt træt her de sidste par dage, og har ikke kunne sove mere end 3 timer i døgnet. Sikke noget møg

Måske lidt off topic, men for 2 måneder siden begyndte jeg at streame på Twitch. Primært Diablo4, men alle mulige forskellige spil. Havde slet ikke forventet hvor fedt det kunne være, at dele de her oplevelser med andre mennesker.

Det understøtter virkeligt hvordan ens kulturoplevelse kan blive så meget bedre af at man har et fællesskab omkring et medie. Istedet for at læse selv kunne man have en bogklub, og man kunne holde film maraton. Mig og et par seere spillede fx. The Last of Us Part1, og det var så meget federe en oplevelse at dele sammen med andre, end hvis jeg bare havde binget sæsonen på HBO.
