Hahaha netflix has raised price by 20 like what, 3X in the last 3 years. I think the price has close to doubled.

That’s after they already effectively doubled the costs for a lot of people by removing account sharing.

But if ther is a 10% tax, then people would be unable to pay and be forced to cancel.

Why would a politician’s child be walking around in a poor neighborhood where traffic deaths are common.

Every politician has a publicly funded family doctor while 30% of average Canadians have no access to one.

And most of those same politicians can afford to pay for private doctors unlike the majority of their doctorless constituents.

I wish Steven Guilbeault stayed on as an independent or went green instead of giving up his seat. But I don’t see a coalition unseating Carney. Contrary to his what is written in his book of the same name it is clear as day to me Mark Carney "Values™ wealth and power above all else.

Nobody gets into a career at Goldman Sachs because they care deeply about helping others.

I suspect Carney would happily accept any and all Conservative policies necessary if it meant he kept majority power of the government.

My two nephews love sports. They love watching the CEBL and they are excited to watch the Victoire.

The New generation will move on to teams they can actually watch. The NHL customer base will erode and become less and less relevant over time as they lose kids not to just other forms of entertainment but to other sports teams that are free to follow.

This is a very short sighted move by the league. It really exists to push gambling more than anything else these days.

Their goal is to groom our kids into a generation of addicts just like drug pushers. They don’t care how many lives they destroy as long as they make a healthy profit this quarter.

How many Canadians are on twitter? How many refuse to use it under any circumstance?

All I ever hear are news reports that so and so posted on X.

I’m pretty sure the reporters whose whole job is to report on politics would sign up to a site that they need to do their job.

Pretending X is a public square. Don’t you need to be logged in to use X and Instagram and most of the time Facebook and Reddit?
