Well, to specify, it’s a mirror of a Reddit post, so it basically just got copied and pasted here

Clover too!

No way! I’ll have to try this when I get home! I’ve been using alvr with mediocre success so if steam link works I’ll be so happy

Hey! Ecosia!

What about no legs no slime house?

You’re putting words in my mouth, that’s not even close to the point I was making.

In my eyes, education is nothing more than a measure of how much knowledge you have been taught.

Intelligence is your ability to use your existing knowledge in a creative way. (ie. creating a working scientific theory after experimentation)

So no, advancements aren’t just made by some smart person who never went to school and lives in a shed, they come from people who are both educated and smart.

I use Equibop, for whatever reason it’s the only discord client - official or not - where screen sharing works at all, occasionally it’ll crash as it tries to start the stream, but that’s rare and it usually works after I open it up again

I always like to emphasize the difference between someone who’s educated, and someone who’s intelligent/smart/whatever

Just requested it on jellyseerr, gonna make my girlfriend watch it with me when I’m home

It looks like it might be submission based? So maybe someone just has to actually submit lemmy as an alternative

Awesome! Downloading immediately, but does anyone know why it has such a jarring transition from zooming in out? There’s such a huge change in how much information I can see from just a tiny amount of zooming.

It’s crazy, when I first joined the fediverse, (almost a year ago I think), I unfortunately saw a post on some tankie instance that said to block lemmy.dbzer0.com because it was full of evil anarchists or something like that.

Over time, I saw posts about what db0 and this instance really stands for and unblocked everything. And now I find myself here as a proud new member of the instance.

While I wish I was here sooner, I’m excited to be part of our community for (hopefully) years to come.
