I agree. I think it was definitely fast paced and at the limit of how many storylines we could handle. In a lot of ways I thought it succeeded at that and was a perfect extension to the first season. I’m pretty jazzed for season 3.

I watched them once in a watch party when they came out. I’m pretty sure none of us have watched them again.

I had seasons 1-5 saved on a hard drive for a while and deleted them a couple years ago because I’m sure I’ll never watch them again. The last season for sure (and sorta the last two seasons) completely poisoned the rest of the show. It was passable, fun, somewhat gritty fantasy that broke through to mainstream and then everyone involved in creative decisions just ruined it.

It took me a while to get over how shit this series and the star wars sequels were.

I appreciate it. Honestly, I had the same kinds of thoughts as you did in setting up there, it seems. For now, I’m gonna see about keeping this account active and checking in with SDF periodically to see if it’s worth going back to.

SDF is the instance I chose in the great migration from deaddit. I’m really just hoping to pull my data and move it to another instance just so I can at least keep my community list intact.

SDF has had really bad, like week long, gaps in uptime recently. This had happened periodically since I’ve been here (usually around once a year), but these last few months have been pretty bad and I definitely need a backup account.
