I definitely think people should be allowed to preserve games like this, I’m just surprised anyone wants to for this one lol

As a fan of PAYDAY, I can confirm, they almost always make the worst decisions possible.

Too often I have bought a game that was reviewed as overwhelmingly positive and it turned out to be some boring ass niche game.
Ironically, this is how I feel about Hollow Knight lol

Same, this game runs like fucking ass and doesn’t look meaningfully better than Eternal.
I had a feeling forced Raytracing was going to suck ass but had some (misplaced) faith that maybe id could make it work, but no, I was severely disappointed and refunded this shite.

I cannot fathom why anyone would bring children into this world intentionally at this stage so this seems like an overall good thing to me.

Yes, they are. If you want 60 FPS and a higher resolution in the two open-world Zelda games, you either need to pay more or have NSO + Expansion Pack. There is no justifiable reason for these to be bundled in with the “Zelda Notes” shit (that’s a smartphone app and not even part of the game).

I know that, I was speaking more generally.

Are we really calling tweaking a config file a “remaster” now? This is the bare minimum for a new console, IMO, and it is absurdly disgusting they thought some of these “upgrade packs” should cost money.

Oh, right, I forgot they did the boneheaded thing of killing the Oculus name off. Baffling move tbh.

You need an Oculus account though, don’t you? Different name but under the same horrid umbrella.

I am actually also one of the weird(?) ones that likes the button d-pad. My main issue with them is I just don’t like where the sticks are positioned, I find it really uncomfortable attached or split tbh (also the whole drifting thing, but that’s not a comfort issue lol).
I will say I LOVED the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, it was fantastic for games built around it. I still occasionally use one (and a USB sensor bar) when emulating Wii games on my computer. They nailed the ergonomics of those.

I hadn’t considered it until seeing this thread and don’t really expect it but it actually would be sick as hell if the Steam Controller 2 could be split in half, I might not use it all the time but man the option would be cool.
It’s a shame that Joy-Cons are the only standard controllers that do this because they suck so hard for other reasons lol

There can be multiple problems worth fighting for at once. Gaming is an escape for many from the harsh reality we all live in and I also just generally think art should be preserved as much as possible.
Nah, people should be allowed to preserve whatever. I’m just kinda surprised anyone even wants to bother with this one lol
