When i was very young (around 3-5) i was giving everyone the middlefinger, because people laughed when a ~4y.o. does it. Only till my Mom told me, that it meant ‘i like you’. Of course, I immediatly stopped doing it. Can’t remember how long i believed it, but probably an uncomfortable long time.

Not sure about it but aren’t swords like wakizashi, katana and Co not primarily for cutting and slicing? Cutting is not really effective against body armor. Probably an old Zweihänder or longsword would be more effective, since they’re made for stabbing. But again, I could be wrong, misremembered something or both.
