Kind of a hilarious, yet probably effective marketing strategy.

    • Agreed, sometimes good, tasteful ad placement can add to the experience instead of taking away. Sometimes it’s awful too though, I remember my immersion was absolutely vaporized by Coleman being featured prominently in FF15

      • The implementation can be balanced that it does not disrupt the immersion of the player while suiting the company’s brand image.

        Honestly this should be done in most titles. Maybe in the future an company makes their product/ service announcement in game? Would be awesome.

    • I remember playing Splinter Cell on the 360 (I thin it was blacklist or double agent) and then suddenly, on top of a skyscraper, you see this absolutely basic and uninteresting city skyline with a fucking Nivea (or some other deodorant brand) logo on top of a cardboard skyscraper in the background.

      Tha was… weird
