• Hamas has maybe a few million dollars worth of weapons and military hardware

This is false. Hamas has an annual budget of around $1 billion (€938 million) to govern the Gaza Strip and run its military arm. Source: https://www.euronews.com/business/2023/11/02/sanctions-on-hamas-secret-investment-portfolio-unlikely-to-have-major-impact-on-groups-fun

and some dumb rockets they aim in the general direction of Israel

So because the rockets are dumb, this is fine to aim in the general Israel direction? well, no.

minor military invasion that can kill 1,200 Israelis

By latest count, the attacks by Hamas—the Arabic acronym for the Islamic Resistance Movement—killed more than 1,300 Israelis and third-country nationals, including at least 29 Americans, in a country whose population is less than 10 million. In America, that would be equivalent to killing nearly 40,000—13 times more than the number of Al Qaeda victims on 9/11. Minor, well, no. There are bad actors on both sides … a third party should step in to cease hostilities … negotiate everything and stop the death and killing.

Now, I agree. However, 3rd party negotiation doesn’t work, because this is what was done until today, and as you can see, it’s not resolved.

Continued bombing, shooting, killing and indiscriminate violence will not resolve anything and will only make the situation worse for everyone on all sides.

I also agree, however, unfortunately bombing shooting and killing is the way terrorist organizations (i.e. Hamas) operates. And, unfortunately terrorism can be only treated by force (e.g. ISIS, al-Qaida, and hopefully Hamas).

The problem is that Hamas terrorists are necessarily Palestinians, but Palestinians are not necessarily terrorists.
