Fake thermostats which exist solely to give the occupants of office buildings an illusion of control are an entire product category. If I were to replace your thermostat with one without your knowledge, you would be just as happy turning it up and down all day.
What the heck are you talking about? This is my home thermostat, so you are just rambling at this point. Fake thermostats exist because people as a whole cannot agree on a temperature.
I work from home too so its not some small time window. Sometimes I turn it too much do and have to make a small adjustment. At night I turn it to 69 because 72 is too hot.
Please just accept that people can and do feel a difference of a few degrees and regularly change their thermostat accordingly.
As someone who uses their thermostat and regularly switches between 72 and 75, yes. Yes I can.
