I did not finish it, no. I’ve tried twice to play past the first couple hours and failed both times. Maybe when I’m out of metroidvania games to play I will return and give it another go. Thanks for the info though!
IDK how old you are/how much time you have, but I’m personally in my thirties and I don’t have the time to really sink into games like I used to. When I played, I used the ongoing steam guide (112% or something like that?), which has the recommended route, tells you where to find each move ability etc. Even with that, it still took well over 40 hours to complete the game! Highly recommend doing something similar rather than wander about.
Also, check out this video which shows someone who is WAY too good beating a VERY late game optional boss. It showcases, among other things, the diversity of the movement set and how fast paced it gets by the end. Depending on what you don’t like about it, it may also just confirm it’s not for you!
