I went to see Sammy Rae & the Friends (great jazz pop band from Brooklyn), and nearly everybody was dressed in 1970s costumes! I understand at a metal show people wear black, but this was next level, very maximalist and intricate costumes. Are concerts all costume parties now, or this unique?
Yes, my partner is basically that (and is the reason I was at those concerts, though they are incredible showmen and I’ve come to like their music too). She doesn’t wear full goth makeup everyday, but she still dresses up occasionally just for fun, even outside of going to an event. I call her a spoopy-goth, but she hates that. :P
