the big stickied thread is getting cluttered with lots of new people and the “how was your week” thread isn’t a great fit for introductions, so it seems about time to make this a dedicated thread of its own so peoples’ posts aren’t getting lost.

I think free and open source software is the only way forward in the world. Especially when it comes to these big social networks. The Fediverse is the only way, which is why I’ve been on Mastodon for a few years. Tried Lemmy, but was turned away from it. So happy to BEE here. :-D <3
