• Mail encyption on proton is useless once you send a mail to google or any other provider. That is not bashing proton, rather to point out that glowies do not need to deal with proton too much to get what they want.

    • You can absolutely send encrypted messages to off network users. They need a password to read it.

      You can also just encrypt your messages yourself with the recipient’s public key. This works everywhere. Even google to google mails.
