Texas Sun is a collaboration between Khruangbin and singer-songwriter Leon Bridges. They later worked together again on another EP by the name Texas Moon.
Personal Thoughts
Khruangbin was recommended to me by the same friend that recommended Dope Lemon and Parcels. I have a busy day today so I selected this short EP, and I really enjoyed the music. My favorite track was the titular track, Texas Sun, the instrumentation is fantastic and Lee’s vocals are amazing, the song really takes you on a journey. Looking forward to checking out Texas Moon and some more of Khruangbin’s work.
Edit: Going camping for the weekend, I’ll start posting these again Sunday or Monday.
