Preempting all the “he was a man of his time” apologists:
Columbus was arrested during his lifetime because his actions were considered awful by his contemporaries.
Worst part is, he wouldn’t be arrested for genocide in 2024. He would probably be seen as lesser of two evils or something stupid like that.
Of course, there was over 100 years between Columbus’ voyage and the voyage of the pilgrims on the Mayflower.

Alright, I thought I had forgotten all my grade school history there for a second.
Is that title the answer to the CharDee MacDennis trivia question, “Columbus is asshole. Why Charlie hate?” I hope so, because that’s what it made me think of
It most certainly is!
Yay! :D That’s a great usage of it, good call!
Columbus was already dead for over hundred years.
The Mayflower brought the Pilgrims to America, not Columbus (which is also, for some reason, misspelled in the title of this post). I’m guessing OP didn’t pay much attention to their history class this year in what I’m going to assume is middle-school.
OP, try again with La Pinta, La Niña or La Santa María
