Telstra shares soar to record high
Shyfer ( @Shyfer@ttrpg.network ) English18•2 months agoThat was pretty good. Haven’t even heard of this site before.
hitmyspot ( @hitmyspot@aussie.zone ) English16•2 months agoIt’s an Australian onion.
Ireland has Waterford whispers news.
I’m sure most countries have a satire news site, these days. They can be hit and miss, but often the hits are worth the misses.
Shyfer ( @Shyfer@ttrpg.network ) English6•2 months agoIt’s like sketch comedy lol
Sonori ( @sonori@beehaw.org ) English8•2 months agoTo be fair, I don’t think Menino was campaigning against moderation, fact-checking, and constantly spreading hateful lies about vulnerable people all under the guise of free speech.
nocturne ( @nokturne213@sopuli.xyz ) English1•2 months agoNo but he sure got mad about the joke.
Sonori ( @sonori@beehaw.org ) English1•2 months agoIn his case reporting a random town politician died because it’s April 1 is not much of a joke. Publishing a bunch of outlandish lies about someone who themselves constantly lies is also not much of a joke, but it is an excellent use of satire and turnabout.
nocturne ( @nokturne213@sopuli.xyz ) English1•2 months agoYes, sorry that one story about someone’s fake death reminded me about another story about someone’s fake death.
Sonori ( @sonori@beehaw.org ) English1•2 months agoI found the article on the fake death and the consequences interesting. I just felt that the ethics of the situations are rather different.
Aussiemandeus ( @Aussiemandeus@aussie.zone ) English6•2 months agoMan if only Telstra shares would rise.
YⓄ乙 ( @yoz@aussie.zone ) English1•2 months agoFuck is Telstra ?
