Do they take us for fools?! They have replicators in Star Trek so these props and costumes are worthless!
Bid on the replicator! Then so many problems can be solved!
Unlimited pizza!
— …and my third wish is more wishes! — I’m a genie, not a moron. We’re done here.
I wish there was more physical props but since they went full programmable matter there’s only clothing
Even so, I’m surprised there are no Starfleet phasers, tricom badges, and the like.
Yeah! I want the cool gadgets!
Unrelated, how does one search for, say, “prosthetic Klingon boobs” without it ending up on one’s search history?
Tragically, I’m pretty sure that particular piece of memorabilia was included in a previous auction. I’m not prepared to go out of my way to find proof, though.
Tragically indeed! I hope they found a home in a particularly nerdcentric sex dungeon.
By “one” I mean “certainly not me”.
I can’t even afford to bid on Grudge’s cat collar lol.
Star Trek 17: The Search For More Money
I have no idea how much it costs to make one of these props, but if the estimated values is between $5,000 - $10,000 - this doesn’t really sound like an auction as in “my grandmother died and I need to liquidate everything”, rather “hey, let’s make a quick buck and fleece fans of the show of their disposable income”. (eyeroll)
It’s an auction. The price is what people are willing to pay. Current bids on many items are still only $100.
