“In force” sound like an odd translation for “In Kraft”
I think “In effect” sounds more natural to me. Can a native english speaker chime in? I am genuinly curious here.
In force is quite common in standard English, as is in effect, though the two can have different meaning.

Doubt it.
It’s probably only about availability of parts which isn’t the real problem: prices will still be a nightmare and parts will still be highly specific so third parties don’t bother making any.
Make it legal to jailbreak and reverse-engineer American tech, then I’ll be excited.
