The way things work
I love the book :)
David Macaulay!
You just unlocked a core childhood memory of mine. I remember this book. I need to reread it. I was in love with it as a child.
I still have a copy but it’s a little tatterd
The Way Things Work (which this is an excerpt from) is a phenomenal book.
Ugh this book is so good
I learned there’s a new edition, too, so that’s really cool
The digital domain section added in The New Way Things Work, reads less coherently now that the rest of the book has been updated for the current world where everything is digital.
Some art is in color where it wasn’t before which is nice.
