Beehaw is great. I like the people and the communities here. But it doesn’t feel very “Fedi” interacting with just one instance. So what’s your favorite community hosted elsewhere?
I really like oldweb@lemmy.ml its a community focused on old (or old-fashioned) websites of any kind.
!herpetology@mander.xyz is one I mean to start posting to because I’m obsessed with reptiles. mander.xyz appears to be a science-focused instance, so if that interests you check out their communities.
Also !map_enthusiasts@sopuli.xyz seems like a lot of fun.

loving https://kbin.social right now, i switched from tchncs’s instance, its not using the standard lemmy webui client but rather its own implementation and overall its a lot more polished experience imo.
I’m intrigued by it, but I don’t really understand it. The list of “magazines” appears to be randomly sorted. I guess “posts” are Fedi hashtags while “threads” are link aggregator posts…?
I think a Magazine is the equivalent of a Lemmy Community.
