I keep seeing these types of posts and my curiosity got the better of me. Finally opened Reddit (on a 3rd party app) after a week and a half. Aaaand… It looks exactly the same as before.
So I did some research and searched for r/interestingasfuck. And yeah. Might like it better how it is now lol.
Reddit muat be blocking all the protesting subs.
Yeah it looks like the posts in question aren’t coming to the front page
“Reddit is the front page of the internet,”
and as we all know, The Internet is for Porn
My first introduction to this was the WoW version so so many years ago.
As part of the protest they’re (mods) marking their subs as NSFW which I find hilarious and clever (because advertisers are adverse to porn), BUT, the side effect is NSFW subs aren’t promoted to front page/all by default
Exactly as it should be 🤭
“Perfectly balanced as all things should be”
r/relationship_advice ?
Giving out actual advice instead of just recommending divorce.
Wow… they really went nuclear on spez.
