I found the extensions section particularly useful:
SpicySquid ( @SpicySquid@lemmy.ml ) 11•2 years agoArkenfox its documentation is great. When I first found out about it I was blown away on how much one can do in order to improve their online privacy.
Firefox with strict settings is pretty good as a baseline. Arkenfox takes it to a new level.
Chemical Wonka ( @chemicalwonka@discuss.tchncs.de ) 7•2 years agoThere’s a fork of Arkenfox to use in Thunderbird mail too. Thunderbird Mail is nice but full of telemetry by default.
Vexz ( @Vexz@kbin.social ) 3•2 years agoI didn’t know that so thanks for pointing that out. My search results pointed me here. Is this the one you’re talking about?
Chemical Wonka ( @chemicalwonka@discuss.tchncs.de ) 1•2 years agoThis is one of its forks but yes.
Vexz ( @Vexz@kbin.social ) 1•2 years agoThere are more? Sadly it’s just for ESR and now that with Thunderbird Supernova a big overhaul of the email client is out, it’s not compatible.
neutron ( @neutron@thelemmy.club ) 3•2 years agoHow does it compare to Librewolf and Mullvad Browser’s defaults?

Jvrava9 ( @jvrava9@lemmy.dbzer0.com ) 1•2 years agoJust installed it
